Stress is so different today than it was in Bible days! Life was so much slower just 50yrs ago! We had time at then end of each day to sit and recover from a long and stressful day. We could sit on the front porch and just sit, can you even remember an evening like this? We are so far away from the way we were designed by the God of the universe. Today we are streched beyond the limits of our physical and mental abilities. We have lost "RECOVERY TIME!"
How do we fix this dilelmna? SLOW DOWN! STOP MULTITASKING! TAKE DEEP BREATHS! GO OUTSIDE AND JUST ENJOY GODS BEAUTIFUL CREATION! Down time! Do you even remember what down time looks and feels like? It is cruical to your spiritual well being. John 15: 5-10 tells us to live by His ways, stay connected to Him, abide in His love, and to love others. Then you will have peace and His joy! Oh to be more like Jesus!
Take time to slow down and enjoy the Father and His beautiful creation! Your heart will be enenrgized and your soul will smile as you enjoy your loving Father!
